Deancas highschool au where Dean and Cas are best friends who both participate in a week-long secret santa exchange, where they’re accidentally assigned to gift eachother.  Each day they’re supposed to leave a present - small things at first, finally ending in one big present before christmas break.

On the first day, Castiel gives Dean a keychain shaped like the starship enerterprise, and he receives a tiny porcelain angel in return.

On the second day, Castiel gives Dean a box of caramel chocolates (his favorite candy), and he receives a seed packet of bee-friendly flowers.

On the third day, Castiel starts to wonder what kind of secret santa would know him so well.  He gives Dean a vinyl of his favorite Led Zeppelin album, and he receives a t-shirt that says ‘coffee before boys’ (that he changes into after first period).

On the fourth day, Castiel gives Dean a gift $20 certificate to his favorite bakery, specializing in pies of literally every flavor.  Castiel receives a necklace with a pair of wings on it, and his initials engraved into each one.

On the fifth and final day, when the secret santa is supposed to reveal themselves, Castiel gives Dean a letter.  Inside the letter is two paragraphs disussing what a unique and incredible individual he is, and ending with a confession that he has been in love with Dean for years now, and would like to take him out on a proper date.

On the fifth and final day, Dean gives Castiel a ‘yes’.
