i feel like a lot of people don’t even get that this was not a verdict - a grand jury indictment is asking for a TRIAL, and mike brown and his family will not even receive that. the prosecutors failed - an indictment is NOT hard to get, the saying goes that you can “indict a ham sandwich.” but apparently you can’t indict a white cop for murdering an unarmed black man.
disgusting. i hope for the safety of all protestors tonight and in the coming days.
