having recently fallen out of fandom a little, I decided I wanted to get back into reading dean/cas fic so I started here, and I’m glad I did. I got sucked in by the summary, which told me most of what I needed to know about the fic immediately – poetic, endearingly scientific (I have a big boner for Cas being interested in the universe and the human body, so sue me), and bittersweet. I wasn’t wrong.
