#if i can take a moment to have a minor quibble with the p&p miniseries #it’s that jennifer ehle #is far too pretty #she shines in a way that eclipses jane’s beauty #i adore the casting of the movie in that respect #rosamund pike is classically beautiful #in a fight-the-trojan-wars-over-me way #she’s the woman who catches your eye when you enter a room #and holds your attention#whereas keira knightly #is gorgeous in a more specific way #slight of figure #with striking eyes and features #there are things i love about this movie #and this aspect of the casting is one of them#pride and prejudice
